This was an interdisciplinary discussion in the What is Life? — Neurohumanities Lunchtime Seminar Series, organised as part of Schrödinger at 75—The Future of Biology, a major conference that marked the 75th anniversary of What is Life? (three historic public lectures delivered by Nobel Prize-winning physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1943 at Trinity College Dublin) that took place in the National Concert Hall of Ireland.

Introducing Ross Perlin, Endangered Language Alliance

As organiser and host for this talk at the Teachers’ Club in Dublin city, Fiona Hallinan wrote and delivered an introduction to Ross Perlin and his talk On the Afterlife of Endangered Language.

What is Death? A seminar chaired by Fiona Hallinan, The Department of Ultimology, as part of Trinity College Dublin's Neurohumanities programme, marking the 75th anniversary of Schrödinger's 'What is Life?' lectures. This seminar explored the theme of Death from the perspective of four different speakers from both the sciences and the humanities. Speakers include Tom Farrell (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland), Ellen Finn (Department of Classics/Trinity Long Room Hub), Ann Murphy (Psychiatry/School of Medicine), and Alexandra Grieser (Department of Religions and Theology).
